Why
are your prices lower than other driving schools?
The Youth In Progress Driving Program offers reduced
fee driver's education in exchange for community service.
For example, students created a collection box for soldier's
overseas and filled the box with donated items requested by
the servicemen.
Why
does a parent or guardian have to attend the class?
As of August 31, 2007 the Massachusetts Registry of Motor
Vehicles created a new curriculum which includes the parent/guardian/designee
must attend a 2-hour driver's education information class
within one year.
How
old do you have to be to start taking classes?
You have to be at least 15 years, 9 months and 1 day old.
This is the RMV
requirement.
Do
I need my permit to start Driving Education Classes?
You do not need a permit to attend classroom instructions.
However, you do need your permit for driving lessons. In order
to schedule driving lessons, we need to have a copy of your
permit.
What
do I need to do to complete my driving education requirements?
-30 hours of classroom instructions
-18 hours of motor vehicle on-road instruction consisting
of a minimum of
twelve (12) hours of actual behind the wheel instruction and
six (6) hours of observation while another student is taking
behind-the wheel instruction.
- A parent must a attend a 2 hour parent class
-40 hours of driving with parents/guardians

What
should I bring to class?
Please, always bring your white classroom hours sign-in card
with you. You must have it signed at each class to receive
credit for your classroom hours.
What
if I miss a class?
If a student misses a class, the student must make up the
module that was missed. It is up to the student to contact
the school to make arrangements to make up the missed class.
